Pasta straws have at least two options when it comes to disposability. They are biodegradable and break down outdoors, similar to other compost and natural material, and they are edible (you know, if eating uncooked pasta is your guilty pleasure!).

Yes, PASTA LIFE® straws are tested as gluten-free (<10ppm) made with rice flour and corn starch which are both naturally gluten-free. We are the only gluten-free pasta straw in the United States, so don't be fooled by other pasta straws. Other pasta straws, similar to regular pasta you buy at the grocery store, are made using wheat flour which contains gluten.

PASTA LIFE® pasta straws should be stored in a cool and dry environment in their originally packaging. Our straws are a natural product and after exposure to direct sunlight the biodegrading process will begin. PASTA LIFE® straws are shelf stable for 24 months when stored at room temperature and under the aforementioned conditions.
